Yihua 982-III Precision Soldering Station Kit

The YIHUA 982 III precision soldering station is designed for soldering and rework applications with micro-sized electronic components commonly found on delicate small devices. This soldering station comes with a compact body design, taking up less space on your work desk.

The C245 Handpiece can be used for general soldering with standard-sized circuit boards and components. The bigger thermal mass also means better performance when soldering joints connected to a ground-plane.

The soldering station offers adjustable parameters, including a temperature range of 90~450°C / 194~842°F, PID temperature stabilization (in milliseconds), and °C / °F conversion. The sleep mode feature cools the soldering iron to 200°C/392°F immediately when placed inside the holder, reducing oxidation and wear for the soldering tip cartridge.

When the station enters sleep mode for longer than approximately 5 minutes (non-adjustable), it will automatically enter the stand-by mode. To restart the soldering station, simply pick up the soldering iron.

The YIHUA 982 III comes with attachable accessories, including a cable guide, helping hands, and a solder wire dispenser. The cleaning sponge with a heat-resistant silicone tray helps wipe the soldering tip clean and prevents accidental heat damage. The brass wool tip cleaner, with its heat-resistant surround, also helps clean the tip with less temperature drop and prevents accidental heat damage.

The tip change groove allows for easy tip cartridge storage and hassle-free tip changes, with a heat-resistant surround to prevent accidental heat damage.
